Creating Meaningful Connections Through Individual Counselling
I am deeply committed to establishing meaningful connections with individuals from diverse backgrounds, fueled by an authentic desire to understand and support them on their path to healing and self-discovery. My goal is to cultivate a nurturing and non-judgmental environment where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts and emotions openly.
Experience as a Registered Clinical Counsellor
With over a decade of professional experience in the mental health field, I have honed essential counselling skills and developed a comprehensive understanding of critical issues such as addiction, mental health, abuse, and crisis intervention. This hands-on experience has equipped me with profound insights into the challenges individuals face, providing a solid foundation for my academic pursuits, including obtaining both a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology.
Compassionate Support for Individual and Couples Counselling
My driving force is a genuine commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of those I serve. I deeply respect the courage and vulnerability inherent in seeking therapeutic support, and I approach each client interaction with humility and empathy. It is an honour to accompany clients on their journey toward healing and personal growth, and I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to connect with you and provide tailored support to meet your needs.
Accessible Counselling Through Insurance and Payment Options
I believe that financial concerns shouldn't stand in the way of receiving the support you deserve. That's why I'm pleased to accept both CVAP and ICBC claims, making counselling more accessible to those who need it most.
CVAP (Crime Victim Assistance Program) is a provincial service that supports victims of crimes in accessing mental health care. As an approved CVAP provider, I can work with anyone who qualifies for the program. If you've experienced crime and are seeking support, I encourage you to explore whether you're eligible for this valuable resource.
ICBC claims are also accepted for those recovering from motor vehicle accidents. You'll need your ICBC claim number to begin treatment, and I'm here to help make the process as smooth as possible during what can already be a challenging time.
Beyond these programs, I accept extended health benefits and offer flexible payment options. For detailed information about session rates and payment methods, please visit our therapy fees page or we can discuss this during your free intake call.
