Hi, I’m Rachel (she/her), and I am currently completing my Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology. As a clinical intern at Shoreline Counselling, I offer a warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental space where clients can feel safe to explore their experiences at their own pace.
I believe that counselling is a deeply personal and courageous step. My approach is grounded in creating a supportive relationship where you feel seen, heard, and understood. I work from a trauma-informed and person-centered lens, integrating evidence-based approaches while remaining attuned to your unique story, values, and goals.
I am particularly passionate about supporting individuals navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the impacts of past experiences. Together, we can begin to make sense of what you’ve been carrying and gently explore new ways of relating to yourself and your experiences. I value helping clients develop greater self-awareness, build emotional insight, and move toward a greater sense of clarity and empowerment in their lives.
As part of Shoreline’s internship program, I receive ongoing supervision and training, ensuring that you are supported not only by me, but by a team of experienced clinicians committed to high-quality care. You don’t have to figure things out on your own—there is support around you here. My intention is to walk alongside you with curiosity, compassion, and respect as you move toward meaningful change.
